Dikki, born and raised in Darjeeling (IND), joined our group in August 2024. She obtained a PhD degree from the CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in India, working on monoterpene indole alkaloid biosynthesis in Catharanthus roseus under the supervision of Dr. Dinesh Nagegowda. Subsequently, she joined the group of Prof. Sylvie Baudino at Jean Monnet University in Saint-Étienne (FR) as a postdoctoral researcher, where she studied geraniol biosynthesis in rose and plant volatile emission in plant-microbe interactions. In our group Dikkis work aims on the characterisation of immunogenic lipids from the fungal plant pathogen Botytis cinerea.
